I am guilty of yelling at the tv, again.
In reality, I was laughing out-loud during a Republican Vice President's acceptance speech. Has that ever happened? Not for me. The hardest laugh was when her daughter, holding the baby, licked her hand to fix his hair. Second hardest laugh was when she revealed she sold the former-Governor's private jet on Ebay. What governor does that? Oh yeah, a mom of 5 kids does that.
I know half of the country has been waiting for someone, ANYONE, to question Barack Obama. To question his big words. To question his experience. To question what he has really done. John McCain hasn't done it. The media hasn't paused in Obama-worship long enough to do it. Who finally steps up to the plate? A woman has to get the job done. A beautiful woman no less. And she strips the democrats of all the rhetoric and propaganda with a smile on her face and sweetness in her voice. Hillary Clinton must be fuming. Sarah Palin said everything Hillary wanted to say during the Primary's, but she couldn't pull it off without sounding shrill, and whiney. And what did the CNN commentators think of her speech?!?! What could they possibly say?
"She has an amazing speech writer"
or
"I wonder who wrote her speech".
Seriously? I am no dummy. I know every political candidate has a team of writers, editors, strategists, a colony of political theorists whose sole purpose is to make the candidates sound Presidential. But of all the political candidates, they wonder who wrote her speech? What about the biggest speech giver? But if that is the worst they could come up with, it proves she can hold her own. She has evened the playing field, and now the debates will really determine who will be the next President of our amazing country.
