Isn't this sweet? Smiles and handshakes. Kicks and giggles. I'm sure it will be a lovefest!
Not really. There will be below-the-belt jabs, done with a smile and possible wink. There will be many, "Although I respect [Sen. McCain or Sen. Obama] I believe...." but that will be as close as we get to a lovefest. As it should be. I want to see strength. I want to see firm positions. I want to hear actual solutions. Will we? Probably not. But I would like to bet how many times we hear these gems:
"Drill baby drill" (I will bet twice)
"Worry about Main Street, instead of Wall Street" (6 times)
"The policies of the last administration" (11 times)
"I work across party lines" (8 times)
"4 more years of Bush" (14 times)
"Forgotten Middle Class" (6 times)
"In my economic plan, I will lower taxes" (7 times)
"Billions of dollars in Iraq" (12 times)
What's your bets? Share other possible phrases!

Yeah! I'm ready for the debates. I wonder if there'll be any lipstick comments? UMMM, what I'd most like to hear...
If you are a family making under $100,000 a year you will see lower taxes. State taxes, Federal taxes, property taxes...OUCH!
Who pinched me?
PS: If you haven't guessed I'm a loyal follower and love you gals!
There will be a huge focus on the economy and Obama will focus on the fact that McCain and Bush are the same. I am glad there are a few women who are interested and we can gather here.
YES! I WAS SO RIGHT! I don't know why I'm so surprised, this has been the same verbage since the conventions. And yes, Sara welcome to the twisted and frustrating world of politics and two crazy women who actually try to keep up!
