Jesus vs. Pilot

Jesus Christ
versus
Pontius Pilate.

These are the real Presidential Candidates. And who broke the news of our Savior's second coming? None other than Representative Steve Cohen of Tennessee! I guess that when the Bible says "no man knoweth of the day and hour" of Christ's second coming, I missed the parentheses which included "Except the man, Steven, son of Cohen". I need to stop before I get more sacrilegious.

Rep. Cohen turned a hearing on Bridge Inspection and Repair into a political forum, when he closed his remarks with his now catchy campaign slogan: "Christ was a community organizer. Pilate was a governor." In other words, Obama is like Christ and Palin is like Pilate. I would think Rep. Cohen would be a little more sensitive about bringing religion into politics, considering a horrible religious smear campaign against him while he was running for his current seat. Fliers were circulated with the title: "Memphis Congressman Steve Cohen and the Jews HATE Jesus". Comparing Palin to Pilate is as irrelevant and insensitive as comparing Cohen to the Jews who yelled "Let Him be crucified".

Why is this relevant? It isn't. It is completely asinine to compare any candidate for VP to Pilate, just as insane it is to compare a Presidential Nominee to Christ. It is ridiculous that an obscure clip from C-SPAN, a channel no one seriously watches, has become headline news. It is insane. And let me be the first to welcome you to the Psych Ward of American politics. On your way in, check all common sense and reasoning with Nurse Ratched, take some heavy sedatives, and strap yourself down for a lobotomy.

I must be honest, I am really enjoying all the crazy rantings of the Democrats. I am having more fun this election cycle than ever before. Is seems like everyday there is something to laugh at and in the end it is all backfiring on them....Hmmm lets see, Who is up in the polls? The more they express their love of their messiah and tear down Sarah and John Mccain the better we do. So for both my entertainment and our success in November I say "Keep it up Dems."
