What does your e-mail say about you? Are there messages in your Inbox you never wanted in there? Are there correspondences with friends or family you would never want made public? Is hacking into someones e-mail part of the 'vetting' process?
I find it deplorable and horrendous that Sarah Palin's e-mail was hacked into and released to the media. And the most incomprehensible part of this latest headliner, is the fact that nothing is being done. Even worse, media sources like CNN and Time magazine are excusing the illegal action as acceptable because she used her private e-mail to conduct some governmental business. What happened to the fourth amendment? "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated..." There was no probable cause. There was no warrant. There was no support from the judiciary or legal system. There was a willing and probably well paid hacker, and a media mob waiting with open arms (holding pitchforks and torches) salivating at the chance of getting any more dirt on a respectably clean woman. I almost wish this would happen on the other side of the aisle, so we could see the outrage and outcry against such atrocity to one of their own.

I just came across your blog and I am in love. You make great and valid points. I am to the point that I am not as afraid for this election as I was over a month ago. Country First.
